Our Zero-Tolerance Abuse Policy
At Twyned, we are committed to upholding a safe, respectful, and inclusive space for all users. As such, we enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding all matters of harassment, abuse, violence, and hate speech. In other words, anyone engaging in these behaviors will be permanently banned from the app.
NO Harassment
Harassment is any kind of unwanted conduct designed to intimidate or humiliate someone. Some common forms of harassment include insulting someone’s appearance, belittling someone based on their identity (such as race, gender, or sexual orientation), and repeatedly crossing someone’s boundaries after they’ve asked you to stop—though there are many others.
NO Abuse
Abuse—whether emotional, verbal, psychological, physical, or sexual—is a pattern of behaviors designed to exert power and control over another person. It is never acceptable and, when left unaddressed, often escalates, becoming increasingly damaging and potentially dangerous.
If you’re in danger, reach out to someone you trust, such as a friend, family member, therapist, crisis hotline, or local organization. You’re not alone—support is available.
NO Violence
Any threats—whether direct or implied—or acts of physical harm will result in a lifetime ban from Twyned. Violence has no place on Twyned, and we are committed to responding to these incidents quickly and with the seriousness they deserve.
NO Hate Speech
Hate speech—or any form of communication that demeans, threatens, or attacks someone based on their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other identity—is strictly prohibited. We stand firmly against discrimination and are dedicated to fostering an inclusive space for users of all backgrounds.
